Position: Assistant Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics
(9-month tenure-track, 75% Research, 25% Teaching)

Subject: Natural Resource/Environmental Economics

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: 1) develop a nationally-recognized research program focusing on Natural Resource/Environmental Economics; 2) teach graduate or undergraduate courses in the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics; 3) publish in high quality disciplinary and multidisciplinary journals; 4) acquire extramural funding; 5) mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students; and 6) participate in service activities of the Department, College, University, and profession. The expected start date is August 1, 2022.

Candidates whose research focuses on agricultural production and climate change are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications: Ph.D., or ABD with an expected completion date before August 1, 2022, in agricultural economics, economics, or closely related field; excellent communication skills; ability to work in disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams.

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
