Associate professor Aaron Smith is part of the Smith Global Leadership Fellows that traveled to DC in April to build connections and collaborations. The fellowship is a sixteen-month professional development program, designed to provide faculty with the opportunity to further develop their international engagement.
Smith visited with Justin Benavidez, the Chief Economist for the House Committee on Agriculture, where they discussed the renewal of the U.S. Farm Bill and its impact on Tennessee producers.
