UTIA and Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation partnered to host the Southeast Farm & Forest Land Summit on October 12, 2026, with the purpose of bringing stakeholders across the Southeast together to discuss the challenges around farm profitability and farm/ forest land preservation. The long-term goal of this meeting was to develop actionable ways that university faculty’s research and Extension programs can engage with stakeholders to address these challenges and build a network of regional partners collaboratively working on land use issues.
